I am a first time builder and have recently done some research on PC cases, but it all seems too simple. Are the only things you really need to look at are the size, looks and features that the case comes with? Am I over looking something here or is it really just that simple?
When choosing a case there’s a few things:-
You’ll also want to make sure the form factor matches your motherboard’s form factor. There are other things like dust filtration, fan placement, airflow, etc etc…but really unless you are overclocking and/or putting in AIOs and reservoirs in the most important thing is that YOU like the way it looks, especially as a first time builder. Secondly, I’d check reviews of the cases you are looking at on YouTube to see if they are new builder friendly or not…that can make a difference.
