Ryzen 7 3800XT has been spotted on 3DMark, on the Time Spy benchmark. Thanks to @_rogame who brought it to our attention, reports that the Ryzen 7 3800XT is capable of reaching at least 4.765 GHz. In other words, the processor can hit 4.8 GHz which is a 300 MHz clock speed boost over the Ryzen 7 3800X. The Ryzen 7 3800XT also has a 300 MHz higher base clock than the Ryzen 7 3800X, too. On the one hand, 4.8 GHz could represent the turbo clock speed of the Ryzen 7 3800XT. On the other hand, we would not rule out that this frequency is only achievable by using Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO). Regardless, the Ryzen 7 3800XT here can only achieve a modest improvement with its increased clock speeds. The Ryzen 7 3700X fell less than 5% short of the Ryzen 7 3800XT in 3DMark Time Spy. Ultimately, the new Cpu’s can only be for filling the gap for AMD until it releases its Vermeer and Zen 3-based desktop processors later this year. We are expecting these processors to arrive in September.
